These Terms apply to pinpinlearn.com and the educational services provided by PINPIN.
By booking or purchasing a lesson, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
PINPIN provides online Mandarin learning services, including:
- private 1-on-1 lessons;
- first and single lessons;
- lesson packages;
- personalized learning materials;
- practice recommendations; and
- related learning support.
The specific inclusions of each product are shown on the relevant product page.
2. Bookings
Lessons are booked through our online booking system.
Times are displayed in the timezone selected or detected during booking.
You are responsible for checking the correct date, time and timezone before confirming your booking.
A paid booking is confirmed only after successful payment.
3. Payments
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
PINPIN does not directly store your full payment-card information.
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout.
4. Rescheduling, Cancellations & Refunds
All bookings are subject to the PINPIN Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5. Lesson Packages
Lesson packages are personal to the purchaser unless otherwise agreed.
Package lessons must be used within the validity period shown at purchase.
Booking a package does not guarantee availability at every requested date or time. Students are encouraged to schedule lessons in advance.
Package students may receive a private booking link. This link should not be shared with others.
6. Lessons for Children
PINPIN also teaches children and teenagers.
Where required by law, bookings for minors must be made or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
The parent or guardian is responsible for providing accurate booking information and appropriate supervision where necessary.
7. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
- attend lessons on time;
- maintain a suitable internet connection and device;
- behave respectfully; and
- provide information reasonably needed for personalized teaching.
PINPIN may refuse or discontinue service in cases of abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour.
8. Learning Materials
Lesson notes, worksheets, exercises, audio and other materials provided by PINPIN are for personal educational use only.
They may not be resold, republished, publicly distributed or used commercially without permission.
9. Website, Pricing & Availability
PINPIN may update website content, lesson descriptions, pricing, availability and product structure from time to time.
Changes will not reduce services already paid for without providing an appropriate alternative or remedy.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PINPIN is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or educational services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes to These Terms
PINPIN may update these Terms as the service develops.
The Terms in effect at the time of purchase will normally apply to that purchase.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
Mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer's place of residence remain unaffected where required by law.
